I encourage anyone and everyone who is not familiar with the History Relevance Campaign to check out their initiative at www.historyrelevance.com/. They're doing fantastic work to demonstrate the essential role of the history field and (I think) everyone in the museum field ranging from the arts to zoos can benefit from reading "The Value of History" statement. If you feel truly inspired, History Relevance Campaign is seeking institutional endorsements of the statement. Everyone in the field has an important role in the campaign!
